PlainNotes Offline is designed to work entirely offline and does not connect to the internet.

1. Data Collection

PlainNotes Offline does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.
The app does not use analytics, advertising, tracking technologies, or third-party SDKs.

2. Local Storage

All notes are stored locally on your device and encrypted at rest.
PlainNotes Offline does not sync data to any server and does not perform any network operations.

3. Passphrase Protection

Access to your notes is protected by a passphrase chosen by you.
PlainNotes Offline does not have access to your passphrase and cannot recover or reset it.

4. Data Loss and User Responsibility

If you forget your passphrase, delete the app, or reset your device, your notes cannot be recovered.
This is an intentional design choice to ensure maximum privacy and local data ownership.

5. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated if the app’s functionality changes.
Any updates will be reflected in this document.
